I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the students, staff, parents, and community of Johnson City as the Principal at LBJE. I believe that relationships and true partnerships between school and home are the cornerstone in the foundation of each child's success. I am committed to serving the students of LBJ Elementary and ensuring each child reaches their highest potential. I believe partnering with parents and the community will ensure LBJE provides the best education possible for our amazing students. 

At LBJE students and staff work on developing our growth mindsets through grit and determination. We continuously consider the power of our words and thoughts about our abilities and how closely connected they are to whether we succeed or not. This year we are also going to be learning from our mistakes and working to "Rise and Shine" in everything we do! We know everyone has hard times, but that we can focus on the rain or look for the sunshine. We know that if we rise up and look for the positives or opportunities for growth in tough situations we will be a shining example for others. We want our students and staff to be servant leaders and focus on their own paths and goals for personal growth while giving grace to others at every opportunity. Through monitoring our mindsets, setting goals, and relentlessly pursuing them, with the support of each other, we will all Rise and SHINE!
